I had a telephone call from Dean a short while ago. Becky has had her surgery and is now awake and back on the ward.
He will be going in to see her this evening and we will know more then. All seems to have gone well but we will know for definite that the operation has been a complete success when she goes back for tests in a couple of weeks.
In the meantime she has to take things very easily.
Dean has put up the Christmas tree and decorated it as a surprise for her when she comes home which could be tomorrow provided she does not develop a temperature or anything.
We would like to thank you all so much for your prayers and good wishes. I just know they have helped and it is wonderful to have such support from dear friends.
Thank you once again and God bless you all.
Thanks for the update Jeannette, I remembered her in prayer this morning. I now pray that she has a quick and complete recovery and that everyone has a Great Christmas.

ReplyDeleteGood news indeed! There's a lady newscaster on one of the Seattle TV stations that has undergone surgery similiar to Becky's. At least it sounds similiar from what I've heard about hers and Becky's. Sending prayers across the pond for a quick and complete recovery to your precious daughter. Linda in Washington state
