More Photos And Merry Christmas

The new radiators were all installed on Saturday and we are now nice and snug in our little home. The snow is melting fast now, still quite a lot of it lying on the ground but the trees are mostly clear and the ice has gone from the pond. From the forecast, there will be no white Christmas for us, snow came that little bit too early.

Pathways are still icy but Mike cleared ours today and also did Nellie's as she has the ambulance coming to pick her up for her regular trip to the hospital and because of health and safety, they would not even go to her door if the path was slippery.

This week I shall be wrapping presents, washing and ironing tablecloths, having my hair cut and generally getting ready for the family on Christmas Day.

I do not know whether I shall make any further entries this side of Christmas. In the meantime I have more photos of the weather we have experienced over the last few days. Firstly, Nathan and Daniel having fun in the snow:-

The edge of the photograph is not missing in the following picture. It is the snow around the pond which makes it look as though it has been clipped. As we keep the koi filter running all the time, the pond does not freeze completely and it looked so pretty.

So, my dear friends and readers, I take this opportunity to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS. However you are spending it, whomever you are spending it with, Mike and I wish you all a happy and blessed time. I know I will give a thought to you all on Christmas Day. Remember also, amongst all the tinsel and glitter, the presents, the food and the fun, the true meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate it, the birth of our Lord. May He bless us all at this seasonal time and may He continue to bless us in the coming New Year.

Until the next time be safe, be well, be happy.

  4. Hi Jeannette, I`m glad to hear that you are both nice and warm now that you have your new radiators fitted. Thank goodness for central heating with this freezing weather we`re having. It`s snowing heavily at the moment and the cars outside are creeping along. The temperature this morning was -6c, I couldn`t believe it had fallen that low over night. The boys look as though they are having a great old time with their snowman, I love to see children playing outside and having fun.

I hope you and Mike have a wonderful Christmas, take care. :o)

    Love and Hugs

We have more snow forecast for tomorrow, not looking forward to it! The photos are beautiful, especially the one of the boys, they've grown up so quickly, hard to believe they're so big now! Have a wonderful Christmas Jeannette and may you and your family have a peaceful and healthy new year! Jeannette xxxx

  12. Your photographs look beautiful Jeannette and I am glad the snow is going from your area, unfortunately it is not the same for us as snow fell again overnight and a little this morning. At the moment the main roads are not too bad but side roads are a menace and the forecast for us is more of the same - ugh~! Anyway, it is nearly Christmas and we will survive one way or another. I would like to take this opportunity of Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and I hope that 2010 brings you all health, happiness, prosperity and peace. I hope that Becky is doing well after her surgery, please pass on my good wishes.

    May God Bless your family.

No snow here. That was nice of Mike to shovel your neighbors snow as well as yours. Merry Christmas and Happy new Year to both of you. Hugs, Helen

  14. Thank you Jeanette for visiting my blog. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I always remember your little house. So cute. English houses are so different from ours over here in the USA. Yours is sorta like a little gingerbread house. Have a healthy New Year.
