International Greetings

I have visitors from over 70 countries now. I thought it would be nice to send out my greetings to some of those countries who visit. I simply cannot cover every place and some countries have several languages or dialects.

As far as I know, not one person from these countries has ever made a comment on anything I have posted, but the fact that my journal is read or, at least viewed, around the world is very heartwarming. So here are my greetings for you.

I just hope that I have got everything right. So here I go

  1. What a thoughtful thing to do. I enjoyed reading all those other lanquages. I speak only one and that is a regret, but all that I ever learned. When I went to school, I always used to laugh and say my foreign lanquage was shorthand. I majored in business courses.

Happy Christmas to you and yours!

  3. How beautiful. Merry Christmas, honey. I have a neat translator on my blog. It translates it into many languages. Babelfish. All you do is put the address of your blog into the widget and it will change your blog into that language. It is really neat. Have you thought of putting that in your sidebar since you have so many different readers from so many countries? Come over to my blog and stick your blog address in and see how it works. It only takes a few moments to translate.

Wishing you the merriest and safest and most joyful Christmas, honey. Love you, Val xox

  5. Merry Christmas!
i know i must have lots too, as i have a few that have actually left comments, but they only commented a couple times ea. i don't have a widget uploaded to tell me how many countries actually view or read me.
but it's always nice to know, that people we'll never meet, never know, never see, still can view our humble little blogs, isn't it?
it really is a small world to be so vast!
    have a lovely week.

  17. Hi Jeannette - We had 18" of snow the weekend before Christmas here in the DC suburbs in Virginia, so we had a rare White Christmas. Loved it, but didn't love trying to get around in the traffic the few days before Christmas when everyone was playing catch-up from being snowbound for two days. I love your pictures, and your new conservatory is fabulous. Best wishes for a great 2010, and keep writing. Linda in DC
