Sylvia And Morton

Many of you will remember Sylvia. She wrote two very popular journals on aol J-Land. The first one was called Jottings From The Sticks and the latter was Ye Olde English Posy and she was a valued part of our community for several years.

She had stopped writing some months ago and never transferred to blogger. The reason being that she passed away on the 2nd May.

I have done a posting for her and have added a tag to the sidebar of our memorial journal (courtesy of Sugar). If anyone has a photograph of her, please send a copy to me and I will add that as well. Here is the link:-

SILENT KEYBOARDS - J-LAND ANGELS

I have definite information on Morton. He did suffer a heart attack and is, at present, in hospital. He is likely to remain there for a few more days. The news is that he is doing very well.

Please call at his journal and leave some support for him, I know just how much our friendship means to him. The link to his journal is:-

caring and sharing

Thank you.

  5. I remember Sylvia. She made beautiful pictures and wrote some beautiful poetry. I believe she was the one who took care of her disabled husband. I wonder what happened to him? I will go over and leave a comment on Mort's blog. Thanks for letting everyone know. Hugs, Helen

  16. Hi Jeannette,

I finally signed your guest book. So sorry I didn't do it earlier. I thought I had, but I guess I did not. It slipped my mind.

I went over and signed Mort's blog.

I am sooo upset Sylvia died. But she did know the Lord so I believe she is in heaven right now. I knew Sylvia very well. We found each other on the net, I forget how. She contacted me and I got her to make her first blog, Jottings from the Sticks. I began her in blogging, convinced her to do it. I taught her how to make a blog, and much of what to do, and how to add pics. As a matter of fact she sent me a pic of herself. I may have kept some pics of her, as I save everything, LOL. I will go look right now. Be right back. If I find one of her, I will email it to you.
    Love,
